Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a technical discipline is required.
• PMP certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Project leadership, develop and manage teams.
• Successful relationship with customers, owners, engineers, service suppliers and vendors.
• Proposal and estimate development and review.
• Contract administration including billing and change order negotiation.
• Job cost administration and forecasting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Steward process to support productivity performance and reporting.
• Set WBS to support schedule development, updating, and reporting.
• Development and administration of project planning and work packaging following Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) principles.
• Development of site logistics plan including material management and warehousing.
• Develop and execute the project-specific process for construction equipment management.
• Mentor and provide timely feedback to subordinates and participate in annual reviews.
• Read the prime contract and ensure all reporting obligations and deliverables are identified and met.
• Setup and manage document control system including drawings, submittals, RFIs, correspondence, meeting notes.
• Develop detailed scope of work for subcontracts with required technical documents and reporting.
• Review subcontractor bids and ensure required bonds and insurance are in place before work begins.
• Review pay requests and ensure invoices are accurate and paid timely.
• Ensure change orders are priced inclusively and approved in writing before work begins.
• Provide preconstruction services such as defining Path Of Construction (POC) and align WBS/POC/schedule.
• Administer tasks related to financial completion of a project.
• Establish project work planning, IWP reviews, and ensure alignment with AWP.
• Monitor and report on project budgets and cost variances, implementing corrective actions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in technical discipline

PMP certification or able to achieve within 12 months
