Humboldt Park Health is seeking Respiratory Therapists for its PRN/Registry Float Pool to cover overnight shifts, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM. The role offers part-time, on-site opportunities with a flat rate of $45/hour.

Responsibilities include delivering full respiratory care, monitoring ventilated patients, and collaborating with the medical team while supporting education and quality care across pediatric to geriatric populations.

Formación

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• CRT or RRT credential required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• NRP certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and equipment per protocol.
• Performs diagnostic/therapeutic procedures for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Administers prescribed respiratory medications and documents patient responses.
• Monitors ventilated patients in ICU/NICU and adjusts tubing per protocol.
• Communicates changes in treatment with physicians and nurses.
• Maintains equipment and infection control standards.
