LAZ Parking in New Jersey is seeking an Overnight Power Washing Specialist to support the maintenance team in garages and perform hands-on cleaning with a focus on customer service and safety compliance.

The role requires following SOPs, reporting safety concerns, and assisting with maintenance work orders. A valid driver’s license and strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Proactive with strong personal drive and able to lead by example.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and maintenance policies, including uniforms and grooming standards.
• Note and report any safety conditions relating to equipment or workplace.
• Analyze and resolve work problems; assist coworkers in solving issues.
• Process and carry out maintenance work orders.
• Report daily on completed/uncompleted work to Operations Manager.
• Assist with inventory of supplies and equipment.

The Spirit of the Position:

The Maintenance/Power washing Technician will provide back-up and be responsible for supporting the maintenance team in various garages throughout New Jersey. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a combination of hands-on maintenance and customer service, while following maintenance and operational compliance.

Principal Job Description:

• Follow the Company Standard Operating Procedures as well as policies regarding professionalism, uniforms, and grooming standards.
• Note and report any safety condition relating to equipment or place of employment.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, assist co-workers in solving work problems.
• Process and carry out maintenance work order forms/requested.
• Report all completed/uncompleted work performed to Operations Manager daily.
• Assist with keeping an accurate inventory of supplies and equipment’s.

Requirements:

• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehendEnglish.
• Must be proactive with strong personal drive, people person and must be willing to lead by example.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and work orders.
• License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Experience/Skills:

• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing priorities and assignments.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
