LAZ Parking is seeking a Maintenance/Power Washing Technician for New Jersey locations. This role combines hands-on maintenance with customer service while following maintenance and operational compliance.

You will follow SOPs, report safety conditions, manage work orders, and help maintain inventory. Requires English proficiency, initiative, and a valid driver’s license. 40 hours weekly; E-Verify participant.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
• Must be proactive with strong personal drive, people person and lead by example.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and work orders.
• License: valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Company Standard Operating Procedures and dress code policies.
• Note and report safety conditions relating to equipment or the workplace.
• Analyze and resolve work problems; assist coworkers in solving problems.
• Process and carry out maintenance work order forms and requests.
• Report all completed/uncompleted work to Operations Manager daily.
• Assist with keeping an accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.

The Spirit of the Position

The Maintenance/Power washing Technician will provide back-up and be responsible for supporting the maintenance team in various garages throughout New Jersey. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a combination of hands-on maintenance and customer service, while following maintenance and operational compliance.

Principal Job Description

• Follow the Company Standard Operating Procedures as well as policies regarding professionalism, uniforms, and grooming standards.
• Note and report any safety condition relating to equipment or place of employment.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, assist co-workers in solving work problems.
• Process and carry out maintenance work order forms/requested.
• Report all completed/uncompleted work performed to Operations Manager daily.
• Assist with keeping an accurate inventory of supplies and equipment's.

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and work orders.
• License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Experience/Skills

Physical Demands

• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
