Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain casino floors, dining areas, offices, restrooms, and public spaces.
  • Vacuum, mop, sweep, and sanitize surfaces for a professional appearance.
  • Respond promptly to cleaning requests and facility-related needs.
  • Maintain supply closets and janitorial equipment.
  • Assist with snow and ice removal when necessary.

Description

We're looking for dependable, hardworking Facilities Porters to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout The Brook. In this overnight role, you'll play an essential part in ensuring our property looks its best for guests and employees alike. From maintaining public spaces and gaming areas to responding quickly to facility needs, your work helps create the exceptional experience our guests expect.

What You'll Do
  • Clean and maintain casino floors, dining areas, offices, banquet spaces, restrooms, and other public areas
  • Vacuum, mop, sweep, and sanitize surfaces to ensure a clean and professional appearance
  • Empty trash, clean ashtrays, remove glassware, and maintain cleanliness throughout the property
  • Keep public and employee restrooms fully stocked, clean, and guest-ready
  • Respond promptly to cleaning requests, radio calls, and facility-related needs
  • Maintain clean and organized supply closets and janitorial equipment
  • Remove debris and maintain entrances, sidewalks, and parking areas
  • Monitor and address spills, hazards, and cleanliness issues throughout the property
  • Assist with snow and ice removal when necessary
  • Provide friendly assistance and excellent service to guests and team members
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly utilize cleaning products and equipment
What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous porter, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
  • Effective communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and safely use cleaning chemicals
  • Basic cell phone proficiency, including texting and mobile applications
  • Fluency in English required; Spanish language skills are a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Non-gaming position
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to work overnight hours, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as business needs require
  • Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels and guest activity
