Job summary

The Post Oak in Cripple Creek, CO is seeking a Porter to maintain the cleanliness of all public areas and back-of-house spaces to the highest standards. You will help ensure a welcoming environment for guests by performing daily cleaning tasks and supporting team operations.

This tipped position pays $15.00–$16.00 per hour plus tips, with a $750 sign-on bonus ($100 after 30 days, $200 after 60 days, $450 after 90 days).

Qualifications

• English reading, writing and speaking required.
• Must communicate with guests, coworkers and supervisors and understand procedures.
• Minimum age is 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash and clean all debris from floor.
• Clean and sanitize all sinks, toilets and urinals using chemicals as directed.
• Dispose of empty beer bottles and glasses.
• Clean ashtrays and replace missing ones.
• Clean gaming tables and chairs.
• Respond to spills and hazards promptly.
• Clean and wax floor surfaces and marble polishing as needed.
• Shampoo carpet and upholstery and report repairs needed.
• Clean marble, brass, mirrors, fixtures and chandeliers.
• Empty trash and handle 50lbs+ bins.

Porter

It is the responsibility of all Maintenance employees to maintain the cleanliness of all public areas and back of the house areas to the highest standards of excellence.

Compensation

This position is in a shared Tip Pool and earns an additional $2-$4 per hour.

$750 Sign on Bonus

• $100 after 30 days
• $200 after 60 days
• $450 after 90 days

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash and clean all debris from floor.
• Clean and sanitize all sinks, toilets and urinals using various chemicals as directed.
• Dispose of all empty beer bottles and glasses.
• Clean, empty and wipe all ashtrays and replace missing ones.
• Clean all gaming tables and chairs.
• Take care of all bloodborne calls, broken glass and/or wet/dry spills immediately.
• Clean, set up and strip and wax all floor surfaces including marble polishing and/or cutting.
• Clean and/or shampoo carpet and upholstery and report repairs needed.
• Clean and/or polish marble, brass, mirrors, glass, light fixtures and chandeliers.
• Clean and empty trash receptacles, push and pull 50lbs. or more trash bins.
• Receive inventory and deliver and put away inventory.
• Positive customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate

• Knowledge and use of basic reading, writing and speaking skills in English.
• Must be able to communicate with guests, co-workers and supervisors and understand procedures.
• Minimum age is 21 years old
