Job summary

PopStroke Entertainment Group is seeking a dedicated Facilities Porter to keep our venue safe, spotless, and welcoming for guests to play and have fun. You’ll help maintain clean restrooms, dining areas, and outdoor spaces, and you’ll support safety and cleanliness throughout the site.

This non-exempt, hourly role requires attention to detail, the ability to work weekends and holidays, and the capacity to lift up to 30 lbs while using cleaning products safely.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a facilities or janitorial role.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Experience safely handling and working with cleaning products and chemicals.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections for maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements.
• Clean and sanitize various areas of the venue, including restrooms, dining areas, golf courses, and kitchen spaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Maintain all areas in a safe and clean condition by sweeping, mopping, deck brushing, dusting, and pressure washing.
• Monitor inventory of and replenish supplies.
• Report any maintenance needs and hazards to a supervisor immediately.
• Complete maintenance checklists.
• Assist with storm preparedness and recovery tasks.
• Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for guests and employees.
• Assist with special tasks and projects.
• Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
