Job summary

Golden Nugget Las Vegas is seeking a Porter to maintain the cleanliness of all public areas and back of the house areas in Cripple Creek, Colorado. The role includes cleaning floors, sinks, restrooms, and furniture, handling spills, and supporting inventory tasks while ensuring positive customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Knowledge and use of basic reading, writing and speaking skills in English.
• Must be able to communicate with guests, co-workers and supervisors and understand procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wash and clean all debris from floor.
• Clean and sanitize all sinks, toilets and urinals using various chemicals as directed.
• Dispose of all empty beer bottles and glasses.
• Clean, empty and wipe all ashtrays and replace missing ones.
• Clean all gaming tables and chairs.
• Take care of all bloodborne calls, broken glass and/or wet/dry spills immediately.
• Clean, set up and strip and wax all floor surfaces including marble polishing and/or cutting.
• Clean and/or shampoo carpet and upholstery and report repairs needed.
• Clean and/or polish marble, brass, mirrors, glass, light fixtures and chandeliers.
• Clean and empty trash receptacles, push and pull 50lbs or more trash bins.
• Receive inventory and deliver and put away inventory.
• Positive customer service is required.

USD $15.00 - USD $16.00 /Hr.
