Job summary

The Brook's is seeking a dependable Culinary Utility Attendant to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across its food & beverage operations. You will help create memorable guest experiences by keeping kitchens, bars, dining areas, and support spaces spotless and ready for service.

Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning, custodial, porter, or janitorial experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physically active work.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

  • Deep clean kitchens, restaurants, bars, dining areas, storage spaces.
  • Maintain floors, walls, windows, equipment, and hard-to-reach areas.
  • Remove trash, recycling, and debris safely and efficiently.
  • Keep supply and storage areas clean, organized, and stocked.
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and per procedures.
  • Respond quickly to spills, cleaning requests, and facility needs.
  • Identify and report safety concerns or maintenance issues.
  • Support daily operations by maintaining a clean, guest-ready environment.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

  • Comfortable performing physically active work, including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in English
  • Dependable, motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including early morning shifts as needed
