UPMC Chartwell in Erie, PA seeks a full-time Overnight Pharmacy Technician/Trainee to support sterile and nonsterile medication preparation, filling, and distribution within the UPMC Health System.

The role emphasizes aseptic technique, inventory management, and compliance with health regulations. Sign-on bonus offered; holidays not required, with a 7-on/7-off nights schedule and weekend rotation.

Qualificações

• Sterile and nonsterile medication preparation with proper aseptic technique.
• Inventory management in daily pharmacy operations and automated systems.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and ensure patient privacy and safety.

Responsabilidades

• Filling sterile products, including cytotoxic and hazardous drugs, with aseptic technique.
• Maintain inventory levels in stock rooms, carousels, and dispensing machines.
• Distribute medications and collect/distribute controlled substances per policy and regulations.
• Ensure all medications are stored safely and securely per regulations.
• Assist in training pharmacy staff and students.
• Support in preparation of oral and injectable medications, including IV admixtures and TPN.
• Audit controlled substances and maintain accurate records.
