UPMC Chartwell in Erie, PA is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician Trainee to join a dedicated team within the UPMC Health System. Responsibilities include sterile and nonsterile medication preparation, filling, and distribution, while adhering to Department of Health, The Joint Commission, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.

On-site role with rotating 8-hour shifts; weekend/holiday coverage required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician trainee registration or licensure as applicable in PA.
• Compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and pharmacy regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Filling sterile and nonsterile medications using aseptic technique.
• Maintain inventory levels across stock rooms and automated dispensing systems.
• Assist in training pharmacy personnel and students.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and PBM requirements.
• Prepare oral and injectable medications for administration at appropriate times.
