Qualifications

• Medication certification; QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse Delegation required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• High school or Equivalent (GED)
• One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferred.
• Strong self-management and organization skills.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (Open to change).
• Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily personal care needs of residents aligned with mission and values.
• Anticipate, identify, and report care needs; supervise medications under licensed nurse supervision.
• Maintain MAR and administer medications correctly.
• Provide personal care (ADLs) as requested; assist with meals, bathing, dressing, etc.
• Communicate with supervisor and peers; ensure resident safety and well-being.
• Document resident conditions and changes; report to RN/LPN as needed.
• Complete paperwork and restock medication carts as required.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in team functions.
