Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization and maintain accurate visitor/incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner with appropriate notifications.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the government facility and surrounding areas to identify and report hazards.
• Maintain a professional presence, provide directions and assistance to the public, and report concerns to site leadership.
