Job summary

AHRC New York City is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Jamaica, Queens residence team. The RN will evaluate and monitor health needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, delivering nursing care in compliance with regulations and agency policy.

Shift available overnight 7pm-7am at Jamaica location, with a pay rate of $48-$50 per hour and no benefits. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, families, and an interdisciplinary team to promote wellness.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and licensure in New York.
• AMAP certification and ongoing competency required by policy.
• Experience in care for individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical care for assigned individuals, monitor health needs and follow up when needed.
• Assess and document consumer health status and changes.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams about care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per federal/state regulations and agency policy.
• Support and advocate during medical appointments with individuals and caregivers.
