Job summary

AHRC New York City is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for its IRA Group Home residence in Manhattan. The RN will evaluate and monitor health and safety needs of individuals with developmental disabilities to promote wellness and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and agency policy.

Responsibilities include coordinating medical care, documenting findings, communicating with physicians and families, administering medications, and developing nursing plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in New York State.
• Experience coordinating medical care for individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to document and communicate health information accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical care for assigned individuals and arrange follow-up as needed.
• Assess health status through observation and vital signs.
• Document findings and communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications and supervise AMAP staff per policy and regulations.
• Develop and update individual nursing plans and protocols.
