Job summary

Myers-Davis in Centerton, AR seeks a Direct Support Professional to join the team supporting individuals in Community Based Services under the DDS program. This part-time role includes overnight hours and a focus on person-centered care and safety.

You will report to the Direct Care Supervisor & Waiver Services Director, fostering independence and assisting with daily living activities, outings, and skills development.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid state license or ID.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit compassion, support consumers, and ensure a safe environment.
• Foster independence in individuals.
• Help individuals acquire skills, such as social behavior & interpersonal competence.
• Provide a person-centered care approach to all individuals we support.
• Assist with community outings, personal hygiene assistance, mobility exercises and meal prep.
• Assist with verbal prompting for communication needs and in home safety practices.
