Job summary

Myers-Davis in Cabot, AR is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a part-time role supporting individuals under the Arkansas DDS Waiver program. Work hours are 9:00am–7:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with a team-driven approach to deliver community-based services.

You will show compassion, foster independence, assist with daily living, outings, and personal hygiene, following the agency's patient-centered care philosophy.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid state license or ID.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background checks.
• Should exhibit patience, kindness, and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit compassion, support consumers, and ensure a safe environment
• Foster independence in individuals
• Help individuals acquire skills, such as social behavior & interpersonal competence
• Provide a person-centered care approach to all individuals we support
• Assist with community outings, personal hygiene assistance, mobility exercises and meal prep
• Assist with verbal prompting for communication needs and in home safety practices
