Job summary

The Restaurant Store is hiring an Overnight Operations Associate to manage daily material handling in our retail location, working 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Under the Operations Manager, you’ll drive operational goals through in-store design, supporting sales, purchasing, and inventory teams.

You’ll stock merchandise, keep aisles presentable, and assist customers by directing them to the right team members. A forklift may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail or supply chain management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities with customers and team members.
• Analytical thinking for problem solving and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Receive all inbound merchandise and stock onto sales floor.
• Down-stock reserve merchandise to selling areas.

• Follow priority lists and perform tasks as directed by management.
• Provide high level customer service when needed and refer to Sales.
• Refer customers to Sales for relevant questions.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and maintain neat areas.
• May operate a forklift as needed.

Job Summary The Overnight Operations Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location. The associate will work the 3rd shift hours, which would be 10pm-6:30am. Under direction of the Operations Manager, the Overnight Operations Associate is responsible for accomplishing a variety of operational goals through effective marketing and in-store design strategies that align with the goals of our sales, purchasing, and inventory teams.

The Overnight Operations Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location. The associate will work the 3rd shift hours, which would be 10pm-6:30am. Under direction of the Operations Manager, the Overnight Operations Associate is responsible for accomplishing a variety of operational goals through effective marketing and in-store design strategies that align with the goals of our sales, purchasing, and inventory teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive all inbound merchandise each day and stock merchandise onto the sales floor
• Down-stock reserve merchandise to selling areas
• Organize merchandise (front and face) to provide a "grand opening" appearance each day
• Follow and execute the priority list and perform related tasks as directed by management
• Provide a high level of customer service when needed to assist customers with locating items in the store without engaging in sales advisory conversations
• Effectively refer customers to a member of the Sales team to answer relevant questions
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping and/or mopping the floor, take out trash and cardboard
• Keep work areas and sales floor neat and clean
• May be asked to operate a forklift as needed

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management

Education
