The Restaurant Store in District Heights, MD, is seeking an Operations Associate to support the Product Lifecycle Manager with daily material handling in a retail branch. You will assist with receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies to align with sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory goals.

This full-time role offers early shifts 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, 5 days a week, and opportunities to develop hands-on skills in warehouse operations, teamwork, and problem-solving in a

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management.
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Business Proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

Receive and put away incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts, or powered equipment.
Restock products and maintain organization in the branch.
Coordinate with Merchandising and Inventory teams to stock products in correct locations.
Collaborate with Product Lifecycle Manager to address operational issues.
Rotate stock (FIFO) and manage damaged/expired products.
Support management initiatives to ensure smooth location operations.
Maintain store cleanliness.

Job Summary

The Operations Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for assisting the Product Lifecycle Manager with all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location. The Operations Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams. This is a full time position working 5, 8-hour shifts per week. Shift time is currently 5:00AM - 1:30PM.

Responsibilities

Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment
Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks
Communicate effectively with the Merchandising and Inventory teams to sufficiently stock products in correct merchandising locations within the branch
Communicate effectively with the Product Lifecycle Manager to address any operational issues
Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as needed
Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store

Physical Requirements

Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
