Job summary

Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton is seeking a full-time nursing supervisor for the 11pm-7am shift. Candidate can be an LPN or RN, with an every-other-weekend rotation and weekly pay.

You will direct total nursing care on shift under the Director of Nursing Services, ensure high-quality resident care, supervise staff, and maintain up-to-date care plans. Requirements include an active LPN or RN license, CPR, English proficiency, and at least one year of hospital or

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a hospital, long-term care facility or related health care setting preferred.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions and supervise staff.
• Knowledge of restorative nursing and rehab policies.

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of residents.
• Develop, update, and communicate residents' care plans.
• Ensure staff implements care plans and monitors resident status.
• Maintain current resident care plans and RN assessments.
• Transcribe physician orders promptly and accurately.
• Document nursing notes and assessments.
• Maintain awareness of residents on alert list and report significant findings.
• Administer medications according to procedure.
• Initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
• Promote positive resident and family relations.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton is hiring a full-time 11p-7a nursing supervisor!

Can be an LPN or RN. Includes an every-other-weekend rotation. Weekly pay. If an LPN, rate is $43 on weekdays and $43.50 on weekends, including the shift differentials. If an RN, rate is $47 on weekdays and $47.50 on weekends, including the shift differentials.

You will direct the total nursing care activities in the facility during each shift of duty under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services to ensure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident
• Participate in developing, updating, and communicating residents' care plans
• Assure staff is implementing care plans, performing care activities appropriately, and recognizes changes in resident status
• Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under his/her care
• Transcribe physician's orders promptly and accurately
• Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness
• Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes
• Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list/conduct and document RN assessments as needed
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary
• Administer medication according to procedure if applicable
• Initiate any and all emergency procedures as necessary
• Contribute to and promote positive resident and family relations
• Other duties may be assigned by manager

Requirements:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN or RN in this state
• Must be CPR certified
• Must have as a minimum, one (1) year experience in a hospital, long-term care facility or other related health care facility (preferable)
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must possess accurate and comprehensive assessment skills
• Must have knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies and utilizes appropriately
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
