Staffmark Group is hiring a Non-CDL Yard Hostler in Groveport, OH. The role offers an overnight schedule from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM with flexible coverage to ensure seven-day operation.

Pay ranges from $25.00 to $29.00 per hour, with weekly pay and a focus on safe, efficient yard maneuvers. Responsibilities include moving and parking trailers, coupling/uncoupling, inspections, and coordinating with yard staff to keep operations smooth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of yard hostling experience.
• Experience operating a yard goat or yard truck.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong backing, trailer positioning and maneuvering skills.
• Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced yard environment.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between dock doors, staging areas, and parking locations.
• Couple and uncouple trailers safely and efficiently.
• Conduct basic pre-trip and equipment inspections.
• Coordinate with yard personnel to maintain smooth operations.
• Follow all site safety procedures and traffic regulations.
