Job summary

Garden City Healthcare Center in Modesto, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the NOC shift to supervise and provide direct care in a skilled nursing setting.

This full-time role offers a pay range of $40.00–$45.00 per hour (DOE), a per diem overnight schedule, and shift differential to support overnight operations. The RN will ensure quality care, comply with regulations, and lead nursing staff during the night.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
• Current, active California RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services during the NOC shift and support DON/ADON.
• Ensure staff compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and audits as requested.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and incident reports.
• Protect resident confidentiality and report information-system access issues.
• Ensure adequate RN/LVN and CNA staffing levels during the shift.
• Supervise, support, and delegate duties to nursing staff.
• Conduct rounds to ensure quality care and nursing standards.
