Job summary

Garden City Healthcare Center in Modesto, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a per diem overnight (NOC) shift to supervise and provide direct nursing care in accordance with current regulations. The RN will support safe, effective overnight operations of the nursing department.

You will assist the DON/ADON with oversight, ensure staffing adequacy, and document care plans, MDS coordination, and discharge planning while maintaining a resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• California RN license (active, unencumbered).
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in skilled nursing/long-term care.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide direct nursing care during the NOC shift.
• Ensure adequate RN/LVN and CNA staffing levels.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor residents' conditions.
• Document accurately; complete incident/accident reports.
