Job summary

Urban Peak Denver seeks a Minor Shelter Life Skills Manager – Overnights to supervise youth 12–17 in a 40-bed shelter and deliver trauma-informed services. You will conduct intakes, assessments, crisis support, and data documentation while coordinating with the Case Manager and families when appropriate.

The role emphasizes safety, boundary setting, and trauma-informed care, with a focus on family reunification or referral to community resources within 21 days of entry.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or equivalent experience in human services.
• Experience with homeless or runaway youth preferred or six+ years in human services with youth.
• Ability to connect with diverse youth populations and set boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Document admission records and services provided to clients.
• Maintain accurate data and timely log updates.
• Coordinate with staff and families when applicable.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support.
• Supervise youth and support daily shelter operations.
• Assist with group activities and case management tasks.
