Anixter Center is seeking a Mental Health Specialist 1 for an overnight, full-time role at 5108 W Roscoe, Chicago. You will provide person-centered, recovery-focused mental health support to residents with serious mental illness and manage crisis situations under supervision.

Responsibilities include medication support documentation, using electronic health records, and teamwork with staff to meet regulatory standards. Strong computer skills and ability to stay awake overnight are required.

Qualifications

• High school education. Must be 21+ years old.
• RSA as defined by DHS DMH Rule 132; MHP preferred.
• 6 months experience with mental illness preferred.
• Proficient with electronic health records, Outlook, and Teams; daily documentation required.

Responsabilités

• Provide person-centered, recovery-focused mental health support in a residential setting.
• Respond to crises and document services; maintain records weekly.
• Support medication administration and perform related documentation.
• Collaborate with staff to promote consumer-driven services and community safety.
