Job summary

Rosecrance is seeking a Mental Health Recovery Specialist for the 2nd shift in Champaign, IL. You will supervise clients, participate in treatment delivery, and maintain compliant records in a safe, therapeutic environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and MHP qualification per Illinois DMH, plus strong behavioral management, communication, and EHR skills. Overtime may be required; on-site work with a shift from 3pm to 11:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must qualify as an MHP per Illinois DMH.
• Strong behavioral management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to establish rapport quickly.
• Computer proficiency and EHR documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and agency insurance.

• Supervise residents and provide interventions.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise clients in assigned program and participate as a team member in delivery of treatment services.
• Provide continuity of program services in a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Consult with staff and plan daily therapeutic direction for the shift.
• Ensure client service records are maintained per rules and regulations.
• Oversee house cleanliness and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Transport clients to Rosecrance buildings or hospitals as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and model positive guest relations.
