Job summary

Rosecrance Moreland in Champaign, IL is seeking a Mental Health Recovery Specialist for the 1st shift to supervise clients and support treatment delivery in a safe, therapeutic environment. You will contribute to recovery and work with the team to implement daily clinical direction.

The role requires strong behavioral management and accurate documentation in the electronic health record, with a Tue-Sat 7:00 am–3:30 pm schedule and on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must qualify as an MHP per IL DMH rule.
• Skilled in behavioral management techniques.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to establish rapport quickly.
• Computer proficiency and documentation in the electronic health record.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise clients in assigned program.
• Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner.
• Consult with staff and plan daily therapeutic direction for the shift.
• Facilitate focal group discussions on co-occurring issues as needed.
• Attend treatment plan reviews and shift meetings as designated.
• Oversee housing and ensure proper use of equipment and supplies.
