Anam Memory Care in Rockford, IL is seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Supervisor to lead overnight care, ensuring safety and comfort for residents with dementia. You will supervise overnight staff, manage care plans, and maintain a calm, secure environment.

Responsibilities include guiding the overnight team, ensuring proper staffing, handling emergencies, documenting observations, and coordinating with leadership for smooth shift transitions and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work overnight hours consistently.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and oversight to overnight team members.
• Ensure staffing assignments are completed and care is delivered according to plan.
• Serve as the point of contact for overnight concerns or emergencies.
• Communicate important updates to leadership and incoming shifts.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including dressing and personal hygiene, toileting, bathing, eating and mobility.
• Support residents with instrumental activities of daily living (housekeeping, laundry, care of belongings).
• Monitor resident safety and overall well-being; document care and observations.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, welcoming home environment; perform light housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor supplies and complete administrative tasks; assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers; participate in life enrichment programming; perform other duties as assigned.
