Job summary

Mount Pleasant Home in Jamaica Plain, MA, a HumanGood community, is seeking a Personal Care Attendant / Med Tech for overnight shifts Friday–Sunday with options to work on weekdays. You will provide resident care (including medications) and document treatments, maintain open communication with doctors, labs, pharmacies and families, and prepare shift reports while protecting residents’ rights.

• Current Med Tech certification is a plus
• Current CPR certification is a plus
• Prior CNA or caregiving experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care
• A desire to have a positive impact in the lives of older adults
• English proficiency required (written and oral)

Responsibilities

• Provides resident care, including administering medications and documenting each treatment
• Maintain communication with doctors, laboratory, pharmacy, and residents' families concerning resident care
• Prepares shift reports
• Promotes and protects the rights of each resident
