Job summary

Leoforce in Pittston, PA is seeking an Overnight Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a plastics manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience and strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills.

The role requires independent work on an overnight shift, with duties including preventive maintenance, reading schematics, and equipment upgrades.

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience with 480V, 3-phase electrical systems.
Experience troubleshooting VFDs, PLCs, sensors, motors, and controls.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, controls, sensors, relays, contactors, and electrical panels.
Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
Perform mechanical repairs involving hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, and other industrial equipment.
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all applicable safety procedures.
