Job summary

Kellanova in Cary, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our plant running smoothly on a 12-hour overnight shift (6 pm–6 am) on a 2-2-3 schedule. You’ll perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, troubleshoot, and collaborate with a diverse team to improve machinery and safety. This role requires a HS diploma and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Hourly rate $32.84; onsite work; comprehensive benefits available through Mars/Kellanova with eligibility for 401(k) etc.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Manage machine performance by setting up equipment and changing over for production; respond to breakdowns promptly.
• Follow safety, health, and quality procedures to drive production.
• Collaborate with plant partners to solve problems with urgency.
