Job summary

Mars is hiring Maintenance Technicians in Ohio to perform multi-skilled maintenance on production equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate machinery, support changeovers, and train operators in autonomous maintenance.

The role requires mechanical and electrical skills and prior manufacturing experience, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a starting pay of $34 per hour plus a $2 shift premium. Candidates should have Journeyman or vocational training and be able to lift up to 25 lbs,

Qualifications

Industrial maintenance experience preferred and hands-on mechanical/electrical skills.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Lifting up to 25 lbs and basic computer software knowledge (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine maintenance on process & packaging equipment.
Calibrate defined equipment within own area and support changeovers.
Assist in equipment setup, AM training, and operator coaching.
Plan maintenance work and manage work orders, spares, and inventories.
Communicate effectively with operators, peers, and supervision daily.
Adhere to GMP, Hygiene, LOTO, and safety policies; operate forklift.
Contribute to preventive maintenance documentation and scheduling.
