Job summary

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company, seeks an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team in the roofing industry. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery, including PLC-controlled lines, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Massachusetts.
• At least 5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Email.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled production lines.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical circuits and equipment.
• Work with EMT and Rigid conduit, including threading and bending EMT from 1/2" to 2".
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and megohmmeters.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and understand AC/DC motor controls, VFDs, and pneumatic/hydraulic controls from wiring diagrams.
• Complete work orders and maintenance logs thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Maintain high-quality standards while prioritizing Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) considerations.
