Job summary

Sika is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our Canton, MA team supporting the Roofing business. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and PLC-controlled machinery across building systems, with a focus on preventative maintenance and safety.

Various shifts offered with shift differential. Eligible candidates must be a licensed MA journeyman electrician with at least 5 years of industrial experience and strong PLC knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Degree is required.
• Licensed journeyman electrician in Massachusetts is required.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Email.
• Understanding of PLC controlled production lines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all types of machinery (mechanical, electrical, PLC).
• Perform preventive maintenance and handle shift work with differential pay.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment (Voltmeter, Ohmmeter, Megohmmeter).
• Troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment and understand AC/DC motor controls and VFDs.
• Complete work orders and maintenance logs with attention to Environment, Health and Safety.
