Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company, is seeking to hire an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team in the roofing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery, whether mechanical, electrical, or PLC-controlled.

You will perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and support a safe, efficient operation in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Massachusetts.
• At least 5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Email.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled production lines.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical circuits and equipment.
• Work with EMT and Rigid conduit, including threading and bending EMT from 1/2" to 2".
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and megohmmeters.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and understand AC/DC motor controls, VFDs, and pneumatic/hydraulic controls based on diagrams.
• Complete work orders and maintenance logs thoroughly and timely.
• Maintain high-quality standards with emphasis on Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS).

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company, is seeking to hire an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team in the roofing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery, whether mechanical, electrical, or PLC-controlled. You will play a crucial role in performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.

Salary Range: $45 - $48 per hour, with a 20% shift differential based on education, experience, and qualifications.

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6 PM to 6 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical circuits and equipment.
• Work with EMT and Rigid conduit, including threading and bending EMT from 1/2" to 2".
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and megohmmeters.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and have a strong understanding of AC and DC motor controls, variable frequency drives, and pneumatic/hydraulic controls based on wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Complete work orders and maintenance logs thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Maintain high-quality standards while prioritizing Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) considerations.

Your Skills And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Massachusetts.
• At least 5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, Email).
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled production lines.
