Job summary

Grace Management, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to supervise shift operations in our senior living community. As shift leader, you coordinate resident care, delegate tasks to RCAs and MTs, and monitor the Wellness Department.

You will administer medications, document MARs, conduct shift reports, ensure safety standards, and mentor new staff. Must be a licensed nurse in the state, graduate of an accredited nursing program, with at least two years' experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Must be a licensed nurse in state where you work.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Experience in an Assisted Living setting preferred. Dementia care experience preferred.
• Be in good physical health; able to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delegates work assignments assuring effective shift coverage; Coordinates care on his/her shift.
• Participates in and supervises the delivery of personal care to residents.
• Implements the service plans and collects data regarding health status of residents.
• Acts as team leader for shift; coaches RCAs/MTs regarding care practices and standards.
• Administers medications according to physician orders and documents on MAR.
• Conducts change of shift reports and maintains medication security.
• Monitors emergency responses and orients/trains new associates.
