Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking an outstanding Licensed Practical Nurse to join our nursing team. You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning, and supervising nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.

Current LPN license and CPR certification required; one year of experience preferred and supervisory skills valued. Evening/weekend shifts may be required, with a supportive environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license required.
• CPR certification as required by state.
• Prefer: 1 year of prior relevant experience.
• Prefer: supervisory experience in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders.
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed.
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications.
• Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation.
• Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager.
