Job summary

Community Medical Services (CMS) is urgently hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to administer medications for patients in outpatient addiction treatment. You will work under a Clinic Manager, manage medication inventory, audit records, and assist providers to ensure a safe recovery environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN in state of employment.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to travel to CMS sites and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered/prescribed by a CMS medical provider.
• Monitor behavioral patterns, medical symptoms and dosage-related concerns.
• Obtain vital signs, blood specimens, and urine samples.
• Process point-of-care urine drug screens per company policy.
• Maintain accurate client records in CMS's EHR system.
• Deliver medications to external facilities as needed.
• Adhere to all regulations and report any diversion.
