Job summary

Community Medical Services is seeking an LPN to serve as a dosing nurse in an outpatient setting. You will administer medications, monitor patients, and maintain records under supervision of the Clinic Manager.

The role requires CPR certification, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to CMS sites as needed. You will work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional calls for additional dosing coverage.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN in the state of employment.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to travel to assigned CMS sites.
• Valid Driver License and clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Experience with substance use disorders preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of signs of intoxication and opioid withdrawal.
• Demonstrates accuracy in medication administration and maintaining client records.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by CMS physicians.
• Monitor behavioral and medical symptoms related to dosage and mental health concerns.
• Acquire vital signs, collect blood and urine samples.
• Process point-of-care urine drug screens per policy.
• Maintain accurate medication inventory and client records in the EHR.
• Report medication errors and adverse reactions per policy.
• Deliver medications to external facilities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and CMS policies.
