Community Medical Services seeks a Nurse to administer medications to patients recovering from addictions in an outpatient setting. You will work under the Clinic Manager, participate in testing, inventory control, and data entry in the EHR, while ensuring a safe recovery environment for clients.

The role emphasizes conversations with patients, adherence to policies, and ongoing professional development within CMS’s supported work culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN or RN in state of employment.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to travel to CMS sites.
• Valid Driver License and clean driving record for 39 months.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by a CMS provider.
• Monitor patient responses and vital signs.
• Obtain samples for tests as needed.
• Prepare take-home medications and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain accurate client records in CMS EHR system.
• Deliver medications to external facilities as required.
• Adhere to federal, state, local, and accrediting body regulations.
