Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging in York is seeking an experienced Lamination Shift Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team on an overnight shift Tue-Sat 8pm-4am. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, and employee development in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and proven ability to manage production data, metrics, and staffing for multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Experience managing production data, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; ERP/MRP systems; Timekeeping and attendance systems.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise employees in Adhesive Lamination, Extrusion Lamination, and Press Roll Rewinders.
• Drive production, quality, safety, and productivity goals.
• Monitor machine performance, production schedules, product quality, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze production data and use metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Scheduling to maintain workflow and material availability.
• Manage staffing levels, vacation scheduling, and shift coverage.
• Oversee employee training, performance management, and development.
• Conduct employee evaluations and participate in corrective action processes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and company operating procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Promote a positive culture through employee engagement, communication, accountability, and servant leadership.
