Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging in York, PA is seeking a Lamination Shift Supervisor to oversee overnight operations Tuesday–Saturday 8pm–4am. This hands-on leader will drive safety, quality, productivity, and employee development across adhesive and extrusion lamination, press rewinders, and related processes.

You'll manage staffing, training, performance reviews, and corrective actions, while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental procedures and supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience managing production data, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; ERP/MRP systems; timekeeping and attendance systems.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise employees in Adhesive Lamination, Extrusion Lamination, Press Roll Rewinders.
• Drive achievement of production, quality, safety, and productivity goals.
• Monitor machine performance, production schedules, product quality, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze production data and use metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Scheduling to maintain workflow and ensure material availability.
• Manage staffing levels, vacation scheduling, and shift coverage.
• Oversee employee training, performance management, and development.
• Conduct evaluations and participate in corrective action processes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and company operating procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Promote a positive culture through employee engagement, communication, accountability, and servant leadership.

Our York facility is looking for a Lamination Supervisor to provide coverage on overnights Tuesday-Saturday 8pm-4am. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Lamination Shift Supervisor to help lead our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about safety, quality, productivity, and employee development. The Lamination Shift Supervisor will oversee production activities across multiple departments, ensuring operational excellence while supporting and developing a high-performing team.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with flexographic printing, web handling, converting, lamination, and slitting processes
• Experience in packaging or related manufacturing environments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the production facility
• Ability to climb stairs and navigate manufacturing environments
• Ability to become forklift certified
• Ability to use computers, phones, and related technology effectively

Work Environment

• Production equipment and moving machinery
• Industrial noise levels
• Inks, adhesives, solvents, and other manufacturing materials
