Job summary

Concord Hospitality Enterprises is seeking an overnight Engineer/Facilities professional to oversee maintenance, safety, and guest security across the hotel. The role requires a background in engineering or facilities, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to act quickly during emergencies.

You will train staff, monitor building systems, document logs, and uphold hotel safety policies while delivering reliable service to guests.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering, maintenance, facilities, or security (combination preferred).
• Basic mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot building systems.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong situational awareness and emergency response mindset.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight.
• Clear written communication skills for logs and shift handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Train and instruct other staff through sharing knowledge and skills.
• Operate as an independent mechanic by analyzing problems and implementing solutions with available resources.
• Keep accurate completion and task records in the project files.
• Monitor systems and handle emergencies involving the hotel systems.
• Read, log, and interpret readings from meters and gauges; maintain daily activity logs.
• Maintain safety and security procedures; follow SOPs and handbook.
