Concord is seeking an overnight Engineering & Facilities Oversight professional in Austin, TX to manage maintenance, safety, and security for the hotel. You will train staff, troubleshoot building systems, and respond to emergencies while ensuring logs and records are kept accurately.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering, maintenance, facilities, or security (combination preferred).
• Basic mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot building systems.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong situational awareness and emergency response mindset.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight.
• Clear written communication skills for logs and shift handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Train and instruct other staff through sharing knowledge and skills.
• Operate as an independent mechanic by analyzing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions.
• Keep accurate completion and task records in project files.
• Set an example of continuous self-development.
• Maintain all hotel tools and equipment in safe, clean condition.
• Respond to emergencies and protect guests and associates.
• Monitor energy and utilities usage and report opportunities to management.
• Read, log, track, and interpret readings from meters and gauges.
