Job summary

Saint Francis Ministries, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Home Trainer for the night shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) in Picayune, Mississippi.

The role involves supervising and coaching developmentally disabled individuals in home and community settings, helping with daily living activities, meals, safety, and social skills. The Home Trainer will document daily notes, support transitions to appointments and work sites, and follow person-centered plans while ensuring a positive, respectful environment

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen, MVR, MS State Background Check and Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance.
• Must pass a physical examination and TB skin test.
• Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid Mississippi driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, coaching, and training to developmentally disabled individuals in home and work settings.
• Assist with ADLs, meal preparation, and maintaining hygiene.
• Transport clients to medical appointments, activities, and employment sites.
• Document home training, incidents, and daily notes per regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure safety, implement person-centered plans, and report incidents.
