Job summary

Saint Francis Ministries is seeking a Full Time Home Trainer for the night shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) in Picayune, Mississippi, supporting developmentally disabled individuals in their home and work environments.

You will monitor safety, provide coaching, and help residents with daily living activities and life skills. The role involves documenting notes, following plans of services, transporting clients to appointments, and collaborating with the team to maintain a positive, safe

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Prefer two years’ related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass drug screen, background checks and health/TB screening.
• Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Mississippi driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision, coaching, mentoring and training to developmentally disabled individuals in their home and work environment.
• Maintain detailed daily service notes and other documentation.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as hygiene, dressing, shopping, meal prep and housekeeping.
• Escort and transport clients to medical appointments, community activities and employment sites.
• Teach life skills including budgeting, cooking, etiquette, and social interactions.
