Job summary

The Cooper in Charleston, SC is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager (Overnight) to supervise front desk staff and ensure exceptional guest service. You will assist the Front Office Manager, train new colleagues, and maintain a polished lobby and service standards in a luxury hotel environment.

This role requires at least three years in the hotel's Front Office, a college degree, and proven leadership in a 300+ room property.

Qualifications

• College or Vocational Degree required.
• Minimum three years’ experience in the Front Office of a Four or Five-Star and/or Four – Five Diamond hotel with 300+ rooms.
• Ability to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist Front Office Manager in supervising Front Desk, PBX, concierge and bell staff.
• Greet guests warmly, escort VIPs, and ensure efficient check-in/check-out.
• Coordinate shifts, approve breaks, and supervise room deliveries.
• Maintain lobby, front desk, and surrounding areas in peak condition; coach staff on standards.
