Job summary

Hyatt Place South Reno is seeking a Night Auditor/Front Desk Associate to manage overnight guest services, handle registrations and departures, and balance cash during the audit shift. You will greet guests, process payments, and ensure accurate reporting of nightly activity.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills.
• Detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• Must possess basic computer skills and be proficient with standard office software.
• Ability to work independently and resolve issues with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Night Manager on Duty (MOD) during night-time hours.
• Greet guests and perform check-in/check-out procedures.
• Handle payments and balance cash drawer; maintain house bank and deposits.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests; manage wake-up calls.
• Perform audit tasks and complete daily reports (f&B, Rooms, Pace, etc.).
• Operate PBX and handle guest communications via telephone and switchboard.
• Book reservations, upsell, and relay guest preferences to other departments.
• Ensure privacy and security protocols are followed and assist in emergencies.
• Maintain lobby area, assist with mail and packages, and support front desk operations.
