Job summary

InterContinental Washington D.C. – The Wharf is seeking an Overnight Front Desk Manager to ensure seamless guest arrivals and a warm welcome. You’ll lead a frontline team, handle bookings and payments, and provide top-tier local insights to guests.

Responsibilities include coaching the front office team, recognizing loyal guests, and ensuring swift check-in/out while maintaining brand standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management/ Business Administration.
• 3 years of Front Office/Guest Service experience.
• Fluency in the local language; extra languages welcome.

Responsibilities

• Coach front office team to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Lead seamless check-in/check-out for guests.
• Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests.
• Manage bookings and payments with accuracy.
• Provide tailored recommendations and local insights.
• Be the primary point of contact for guest issues and resolutions.
