Job summary

Loews Chicago O'Hare is seeking a Front Office Agent to warmly welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, and promote hotel services. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy in payments and room assignments while delivering exceptional hospitality.

The role requires solid guest service experience, familiarity with Opera PMS, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Loews offers competitive benefits and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year guest service experience in hotel hospitality preferred.
• Experience with Opera System preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
• Assign rooms that meet guest preferences and special requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information in accordance with hotel policies.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings, and banquet orders.
• Perform check-out procedures and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Front Desk and lobby area.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism, prioritizing guest and team member safety.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
